Synopsis:
I didn’t believe them when they said they would corrupt me.
I was wrong. So wrong.
The night my sister died, a piece of me died with her, so I made a vow.
I’m going to enroll at Spine Ridge University just like her, find the person responsible … and make them pay.
Until I meet three sick boys of the Skull & Serpent Society: Felix, Dylan, Alistair. Rude, heartless, vicious guys who are obsessed with making me regret I ever stepped foot on campus.
They make me a deal: My body in exchange for a glimpse at their violence.
Refusing them is impossible, denying them is insane.
They’re rough, greedy, and every second with them is filled with depravity.
Their venom is jabbed straight into my heart and I’m sucked into their world.
All for the sake of revenge.
Until it becomes something more.
Something priceless.
Something all four of us would kill for.
Review:
“Don’t pray to God when you’re being licked by the devil himself.”
I’ve had this book on my TBR for awhile now, and when I got the Baddies Book Box special edition I just knew I had to bump it up in my list and I’m glad I did. This book was a much needed break from the fantasy books I’ve been reading and it didn’t disappoint.
I really enjoyed the Reverse Harem in this book. Most of the time when you get a “Reverse Harem” usually it’s just the girl sexually active with all the men and to me that is a “Why Choose” but this book, Dylan and Ali give me life. In this book Penelope is in a relationship and sexual with all three men, but Dylan and Alistair have a relationship and are sexual with each other as well.
The reason I gave this book 3.5 stars instead of 4 was because I felt a few plot-icks in the book… For instance, I didn’t enjoy the insta friendship between the girls? It just didn’t really make sense to me, I wish I would’ve gotten a bit more of the beginning of their friendship. I felt like I had a lot of unanswered questions while reading, and some get wrapped up in the end but there are still some questions that just feel like they left some plot holes open. So really it was little things like that, that brought it down a little bit for me.
I gave this book 4 peppers, and that is because this book has many highly sexual scenes. The scenes are kinky, explicit detail, and have elements that make this a Dark Romance novel.
Overall, this book has some really great spice and plot twists that make it a good read! I have already started Book 2 – Evil Boys and honestly I’m loving it more already.
Please check trigger warnings before you read this book as it is a Dark Romance novel. But I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!
