Synopsis:
Ryder, Garrett, Kenzo, and Diesel—The Vipers.
They run this town and everyone in it. Their deals are as sordid as their business, and their reputation is enough to bring a grown man to his knees, forcing him to beg for mercy. They are not people you mess with, yet my dad did. The old man ran up a debt with them and then sold me to cover his losses. Yes, sold me. They own me now.
I’m theirs in every sense of the word. But I’ve never been meek and compliant. These men, they look at me with longing. Their scarred, blood-stained hands holding me tight. They want everything I am, everything I have to give, and won’t stop until they get just that. They can own my body, but they will never have my heart. The Vipers? I’m going to make them regret the day they took me. This girl? She bites too.
Review:
“So you have demons? Baby, they match mine.”
Where do I even want to begin with this review, lol. Ryder, Garrett, Kenzo, and Diesel entered my heart being the second book I read on my book journey. To start my reading journey with book 2 being Den of Vipers was a quick way to throw me off the cliff into the deep end. However, it did not disappoint. I know there are a lot of mixed reviews on this book, and everyone has the right to their own opinions so I am not judging. Personally, I loved the book. It gave me high energy while I was reading it.
I will think about the knife scene forever, iykyk. This book does have a lot of spice. I gave it 4 peppers out of 5 on the scale. There is a lot of sex throughout the book. I gave it 4 peppers and not 5 because there is a plot line, even if the book isn’t heavy plot. I also gave this book 4 stars, the reason I didn’t give it 5 was because I did think the book could’ve given more to the plot, however, this book is still perfect in my eyes. This book is a Mafia Romance with a Reverse Harem/Why Choose. She does end up with all four men and in the cutest way.
I know this book has been labeled as a “Reverse Harem”, but I want to share my take on that. For me this book is more of a “Why Choose” and I know those terms can be used together. But for me a Reverse Harem means all members have a physical and emotional relationship with each other. Where a Why Choose, the MC has a physical and emotional relationship with everyone, but not everyone is physically together. I hope that helps!
Also, a personal note for those who may want to listen to the audiobook… PLEASE listen to the sample first. I did not like it at all, lol. This book is available on Amazon, KU, and Audible.
Please read the full list of trigger warnings before reading. If you do read this book, I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!
